The law of attraction community I have personally found very supportive and open to helping others. However, there are some pervasive ideas that do not always are in the services of others.
One of these is the idea that by signing up for an individual's Multi-Level Marketing program. It is helpful to note that in the 80s and 90s many were ripped off by MLM companies due to their pyramid system. The focus is typically on sales with promises of high income, bonuses, perks, even college tuition for attending their MLM program, with no product produced, as well as so many other benefits. In today's Internet age they seem to be everywhere, not just in the Magic and Attraction world but in business, marketing and many other areas. Essentially, any other interest in which getting rich quickly is appealing. While they are not all bad, many are glorified pyramid schemes that offer little value for the enormous amounts they charge. So how do you know if a MLM company is in alignment with your goals? First, you must understand the service that you are signing up for. While many make tens of thousands of dollars in a short period of time, the truth is that these MLM companies typically only make what they need to stay in business and that can be quite small. The second thing is the actual product that they are offering. You must research it first to get an idea of what it offers and what you could potentially lose from switching to another product. It is much easier to stay with a product or scheme that you trust by the person at the face of it. Always do your research and remember, even if you're in a financially poor state, that this may not be a magic bullet. You need to remember that this moment may be trying to teach you that all is in fact well. Reminding yourself that you don't need these things and letting go of the thought is sometimes the fastest method to manifest what you want. Just some thoughts I had anyway. Please contact me directly by email or on Twitter if you are unsure of any of the points I have made. Love, Olivia xxxx

One myth I see over and over again in the law of attraction community is that we only focus on positive things. That we make sure we focus on things that are good for us to the exclusion of all else. We don't dwell on what we don't have or feel the need to complain.
This just doesn't hold up under scrutiny. For example, while focusing on all of the wonderful things that we have to look forward to in our life, some of us may still feel the pangs of anxiety, anger, fear or self-loathing. If these negative emotions creep in, as surely they will, we must remember to acknowledgement them first. This is true awareness. We can then shift our thinking consciously and then move our focus on the positive. Yes, that may still be hard for us sometimes, but that is the work of living life at the optimum. One step in this direction would be to continue to accept, embrace and work with the parts of yourself that you know that you wish to change, improve and give away. This will go a long way toward preparing you for acceptance of that which you do not like. At this point you can then move onto working on those things that you would rather leave in the past. Until next time, be good to yourself. Love, Olivia xxxx |
Olivia EalingMy name is Olivia Ealing. I have been through an extraordinary journey of struggles. I was blessed that I had learnt a magical system which used the tenants of the law of attraction. I was able to attract joy, happiness and light in the direst of circumstances. I see this part of my journey as a gift that taught and confirmed to me that I really could create my own reality. I am now living my best possible life and fully enjoying all the sparkling vitality and wondrous beauty there is to offer. I live in the UK and I am a child of the universe. Archives
